GRADUATE APPLICATION PROCESS

Application Process for the Masters of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) Graduate Program in Motion Pictures in the Cinema and Interactive Media Department at the University of Miami.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

To apply, here’s what you need to do

 

1. Review our M.F.A Curriculum.

2. Sign up for an account with CollegeNET, the application hosting service affiliated with the school.

        --Request one official transcript from each post-secondary institution (college or university) that you have

          attended.

        --Request your TOEFL (if applicable) scores from ETS (University of Miami Institution Code # 5815).

          **Transcripts and test scores are NOT considered as official if provided by, or received via the applicant.

        --GRE score is NOT required.

        --Download and complete the Application for Graduate Assistantships and Fellowships form.

        --Remind your recommenders to complete the online recommendation form (3 letters are required).

        --(For International Applicants ONLY) Download and complete the Statement of Financial Responsibility

           form.

3. Prepare and submit all required Portfolio Materials through SlideRoom.

4. Make sure you meet the appropriate deadlines for Fall semester acceptance:

        Priority Deadline: February 1, 2017.

        Final Deadline: May 1, 2017 (if available)

5. Look into fees & funding to help you pay for school.
